WHAT WE DO
Employ Prince George’s Apprenticeship Innovation Program (AIP) gives job seekers the opportunity to participate in Registered Apprenticeships, and Pre-Apprenticeships. Apprenticeships have various program designs that allow job seekers to gain immediate employment, increase their required technical and professional skills, and increase their wages that align with their skills gain. Apprenticeships provide significant opportunities to jump-start careers while ensuring job seekers have the necessary skills to meet industry needs!

General Eligibility Requirements
- Proof of Residency in Prince George’s County
- Currently Unemployed
- Proof of Eligibility to Work in the U.S.
- Proof of Registration for Selective Services
(Males only born on or after January 1, 1960)
Prince George’s County Apprenticeship Expansion Fund
The Prince George’s County Apprenticeship Expansion Fund will provide registered apprenticeship employers with a financial incentive (a grant) to fill their registered apprenticeship vacancies, with unemployed or under employed Prince George’s County residents.
