TALC | Stand Up & Deliver Program

The Employ Prince George’s Transportation and Logistics Consortium Workforce Development Program has partnered with the Office of the County Executive to provide paid employment and training opportunities for Prince George’s County Returning Citizens and Young Adults.

Employ Prince George’s will pay returning citizens and Young Adults $15.00 - $20.00 per hour for the following
  • Up to 35 Hours per week of work & Classroom training
  • Working as a laborer, Warehouse Worker, or Food Distributor
  • Obtaining an Industry Recognized Credential for Employment
  • Securing a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Supportive Services/Driver’s License Assistance
  • Developing Career Readiness and Basic Skills

The Transportation and Logistics Consortium will prepare you for a career in

  • Driver – Commercial & Delivery
  • Heavy Equipment Operator
  • Warehouse Worker/Associate
  • Forklift & Small Equipment Operator
  • Movers & Material Handler
  • Pickers, Packers & Assemblers
Requirements
  • Proof of Residency in Prince George’s County
  • Proof of Unemployment
  • Proof of Eligibility to Work in the U.S.
  • 18 Years of Age or Older
  • Returning Citizens and Young Adults (18-24) will receive priority for program enrollment

Disclaimer

  • Employ Prince George’s will pay unemployed Prince George’s County residents to work as Food distributors and go to school to earn an occupational skill credential, earning $15 – $20 per hour.

  • Employ Prince George’s Transportation and Logistics Consortium Program provides eligible Prince George’s County residents with workforce development services and the training needed to gain employment.
    To connect customers with international partnerships and nonprofits to support direct staffing and training needs and form long term talent solutions
